Important questions about V12.

Greetings.
My questions are quite simple ones.
One when I buy license to V12, there will come only one CD right?
And if other teammembers are in other country, can we copy the CD so that they could get V12 too?
Two, how safe is to buy V12 with Visa, through i-net, asking because I don't certinly want that there will come something like instead of 100$ 1000$. Or can I use e-check to buy V12?

No only the programmers handling the V12 source code needs a license!

You can distribute the tools / documentation to teammembers without license, but to distribute code, they'll have to have a license (which gets them a CD).
By copying CD you'd be copying the code, which means they need a license, which means they get a CD anyways. So... yeah. There you go.

Yeah so basically you can make them cds with everything BUT the source code!

So this mean that if I buy the license, we cannot modifiy V12 so that it could fill our demands to game project.
I mean if buying license to engine we should have some rights to modifyi it.
Plus if the team is all over the world, and one buy the license, there must be some rights so that person can copy for every teammember that CD, so that they can develope game (there's no brain in it, if in team is 20 person & everyone have to buy license).
It doesn't work like that normally either.

Huh? You get the full source code so you can modify the snot out of it. There is no limitation in the modifications you can make.
Do all 20 members of your team need to edit the source code for the engine? You need to buy a license for each programmer who will be modifying the source code for the engine but you can send any executables/tools/scripts you want to the rest of the team. You could have 2 engine programmers (2 licenses) and 3 more scipt programmers (0 licenses). Most things can be controlled by scripts in the V12 engine.
You are correct. If you buy a normal $250,000 license (QuakeIII, Unreal, LithTech) then you are normally free to send the source code to your entire team. However, $100 per license is not normal so the license works a little differently. Even if you have 20 programmers then you will still spend only $2000 which is considerably less than $250,000. GG has stated that if you are not happy with this then they are willing to cut you a "normal" $250,000 license.

Will the V12 Engine have middleware software for the gamecube,playstation2,and xbox? If so when do you think that will be released and how much will that cost?

We have no plans for supporting the Gamecube or PS2. X-Box is a possibility in the future.

ok i have a simular question too.Its regaurding to this license issue.Ok so basically what is happening is that each progarmer on the team that will be modifying source code/engine progarmer needs a 100 USD of license, am i correct? In other word only the people who do the progarming with source would need a license? scripter does not need one right? and any other staff in other department would not need a license am i correct?thankyou for your time and patients.

That's how it works.
