"To better address the needs of today's global computer and video game industry, the 2007 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3Expo) is evolving into a more intimate event focused on targeted, personalized meetings and activities, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) announced today."
According to the last GameSpot Newsletter:
"Starting next year, the show will be scaled down to accommodate an audience of just 5,000 industry professionals (down from 60,000 this past year."

Don't mean to correct them, but they said E3Expo, but that wouldn't make any sense. The Electronic Entertainment Expo Expo?

E3 was trademarked by somebody else, so the ESA had to make it E3Expo to make it different.

Ahh...It still doesn't make to much sense, it is like someone saying "ATM Machine" :).
