Vehicle Problems

Hi Everyone,
I want to preface this by saying, i have tried all the resources for vehicles on the site.
When i mount a vehicle, with either an::onCollision or a 'use' key the vehicle is controlled by the mouse and keyboard, but the player does not mount it, and the camera stays on the player. so i can stand there and drive any vehicle around but the player and his camera stay facing the same direction. Now if i goto mission editor and pickup the vehicle, drop it and then F7 back into the game, then the player is mounted fine with the camera chasing him.
I assume the problem is that the player is not mounting the vehicle correctly, which i find strange as im using the car from Racer as well as all the scripts that come in the resources/forum threads to add the mount points and the sitting etc.
Just wondering if anyone else has had the problem, and could post the line of code for the player to mount a vehicle.

make sure there all "z" up and "y" forward and you should be ok for the model the rest of the car is scripting.
