Buying the book via GG

by Todd "zaz" Koeckeritz · in Torque Game Engine · 07/21/2006 (1:16 pm) · 11 replies

I prefer to buy my books locally when possible, but am unable to find any copies of this in my area.

My next plan was to go through GG, but I see a number of posts by people who ordered through GG about missing in transit, long ship times, double billing, etc. issues.

Are these issues the exception or the norm ? What have people been experiencing for shipping times within the USA ?

Mine came pretty quick. I ordered it and it shipped within a day or two. I think I had it in under a week.

Hi Todd,
My book arrived fairly quickly, but was poorly packaged and torn to hell in shipping.

I plan to use Amazon for future purchases. I've ordered thousands of dollars of merchandise from them over the years, and not one item was damaged.

John - You can contact AK Peters using their sales contact page - http://www.akpeters.com/sales.asp And let them know your package was damaged. (service@akpeters.com) They should be able to help you out with replacements if needed.
