Exporter Problem

I keep getting this wierd problem when i export my model(modelled in Maya 7.0) and load it up in the show tool.

My model in Maya is like this:
h1.ripway.com/rajjie/tiger2.jpg
And when i load it up in ShowTool, its like this:
h1.ripway.com/rajjie/tiger1.jpg
Why is the portion of the neck missing?

Looks to be your normals around the neck need to be flipped

Sorry im new at this,
can you explain more about flipping these normals?
what tools should i use?

Each polygon face has a normal they need to face out or your model will look transparent
to view the face normals select the mesh then under Display/polygon components click normals
this will give you a line coming out each polygon they need to face out like this cube
to flip/Reverse them in maya7 its edit polygons/Normals/Reverse how you do this is
right click the model pic Face shift+click all the faces to Reverse and then click Reverse
To fined out before you export if your mesh is ok select the model then in window/Attribute editor
tab number 2 "Mesh Component Desplay" Backface culling turn that to wire that will show you the faces to fix
