Issue with Running Full Screen

When I run TGE (1.4) in full screen mode, open application windows on my desktop get "pushed" around (down and to the right, it seems).
This happens with my own TGE EXE, plus the demo EXE.
Anyone know how to stop this from happening?
I get annoyed when my desktop is messed with, and I assume other people do, as well (though maybe not indie game developers, since this issue has been around since I first started messing with TGE back in 2002 ;-) ).
Thanks in advance!

My understanding (with the usual caveat that I could be wrong - I often am) is that this is an fullscreen OpenGL thing...

This happens when you switch Refresh Rate and it is not exclusive to OpenGL.

Fixes very welcome, but this tends to come down to a lot of driver-specific/windows-oddity specific stuff so it's not our first priority to fix atm!

It would be kind of cool to have a refresh rate setting... defaulting to 60hz is hard on the ol' eyes as well as causing this. Does TSE have a refresh rate option in it? Not really looking to hack too much into TGE since we'll be switching to TSE soon, but if TSE doesn't have it either I'll definitely have to hack it in.

For this reason i wish games would default to windowed mode, and make full-screen an option.
