Problems with hills

Hi all,

I recently purchased the Torque SDK and ran my first tutorial, which was collecting objects around a few hills made by raising the terrain.

Earlier in the day this worked fine, and my character model was able to travel up and down the hills as normal.

However, when I reloaded the mission later in the day to edit it, everytime I went near a hill it wouldn't let me go up it, even in World Editing mode.

When I tried to go onto a piece of terrain that was raised, it simply forced my camera angle to go straight down and wouldn't allow me to control it, so I had to reload the mission.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Alan

What do you mean? does it force you back down? or does the camera just keep going forward through the terrain? Sometimes when you modify the terrain, and make the slope too steep, you cant walk up the hill(usually happens when you use the flatten brush). But a solution to that, is use the smooth brush along the hills.

Didn't you already start a thread on this problem earlier?
