Alien Eggz: prototyping like mad

1 week vacation in Lake Tahoe now back to cranking on my prototype. Here are some recent screenshots. Hard to tell what's going on I know but hey it's just a prototype :-)

Hey Alex, Hope your doing well bro. That egg fracture is sweet. So whats going on there? do you rotate the wheel to get like colored eggs together?

And in fact the gameboard will be rotatable and maybe even tranform-able in higher levels. But that's not the core of the gameplay. The goal in Alien Eggz is to fill up the gameboard's open cells with eggs. The level is cleared when the game board cells are all filled. Sounds simple however eggs will crack-n-hatch then cause mischief, which should make it much more fun. There will also by challenges/mini games involving the planet surface, and the space around the board (like meteor showers). Of course most of this is not implemented yet but I hope to have the prototype done in the next couple of months.
