Three Level Editor suggestions

Hiya!
When you have many many objects in your level it's sometimes hard to click at one specific object. It would be cool if there was the possibility to lock layers from being edited and selected so you can concentrate on the one you are building right now. For example, when you are done laying out the background and you start to put obstacles, it would be cool if you could lock the background layer so you can fully concentrate on the obstacles.
Another thing you might want to add is the possibility to name your layers and/or add/remove them as you need them, like in Photoshop. :)
My last suggestion would be the ability to create and name groups in the scenegraph like you can do in TGE. I know you already can group objects from the level view but sometimes it's easier to drag and drop the objects in the scenegraph view.. especially if those objects are far apart. Plus those groups don't have names. Being able to name the groups you make makes it easier to script sometimes(for example, to count all remaining enemies). :)

Hide - don't see the objects and can't select them
Lock - see, but not be able to select
This would make life so much simpler!

I would like to be able to scroll the level editor with the right and left arrow keys by just holding them down and not constantly tapping them. Also, it would be nice if the static sprites were level specific and would not necessarily appear for all levels. I have SPRITE OVERLOAD in my static sprite palette!!Shawn

I'm not sure that making sprites level-specific is the answer, but it would really be nice if the editor didn't dump all of them into one big pile! Perhaps the system could be changed to show/hide assets based on which folder they are located in? They'd still be there, but not have to be seen unless you want to.

I've passed the suggestions on to the team (they may read them as well), and I think it's a good idea for the next release!
