Start from the begining

Is there any tutorial that starts from the very begining with Torque scripting. I mean looking through the examples is getting me more confused. I'm just wondering if a tutorial exists that starts us from scratch for a very very simple game. If not, does the Torque book do this? If so maybe I should purchase that. Thanks.

3-D game programming all in one starts from teh begining of Torque script or 3D programming in general? I have some knowledge of 3D programming, it's using Torque script that is confusing me. Not just the syntax, but the API basically. Since Torque script is basically a form of API to the engine.

Its very informative. However if you happen to be lucky enough to have a bookstore near you that has both books, go in and look you might find that reading the first chapter of 3dgpai1 helps you get your bearings and A3dgpai1 is the better book for you.
Also i would personally suggest that you use Torsion, it makes things easier.

Both 3dgpai1 and A3dgpai1 (A = advanced, 3dgpai1 = 3D Game Programming All In 1) are books that are based entrily on TGE- Torque script (the book is all torque script Otherwise they couldn't sell it on bookstore shelves without verifying that you owned TGE). Its very informative.
