Rigging for rts

Hi i have just bought the torque indie license and the rts starter kit. when i rig my characters do i just need to create my own custom rig and animate it or do i need to import a skeleton. also if i just create my own rig do i need to define bone names and things in some code.

also what folder contains the character models and things like that?

Animating characters is a big topic, your best bet is to get on TDN and start reading up about DTS creation.

As for where your character models are located, generally they will be in the starter.fps or the demo folder (depending on what you're using). Basically, this is your game or mod directory and you can change the name to whatever you want (make sure your paths reference the change though).
