I have 2005 and 2003, infact, i'm thinking about going back to 2003 cause it just works better.

Yeah 2003 is great. The only reason I would ever move to 2005 is for x64 support. As I am currently running Windows XP Pro x64 I would love to attempt to build the game in x64, this does not seem to be happening as I have yet to get 2003 to build a x64 application. Any help on this would be great.

Well I was thinking of upgrading to 2005 but after this thread I might reconsider it is a bit costly... And to reinstate the above posts, yes it does work.

It really seems like it takes longer to compile with 2005. like i dunno. should it take 5 minutes to do a build? i sorta remember 2003 building faily quick.

I use 2005, and much-much prefer it over 2003. It is painful for me to go back to the old IDE, as I've gotten used to the new intellisense, the refactoring abilities, etc. If you use it everyday for 10 hours a day or so, you too will appreciate the newest version.

That's what I use to compile TGE and TSE and it works great for me.
