Hey guys its not game related but I always come to this community to ask questions cuz I trust the answers I get whenever I post something so here it goes.
ok theres this band that I want to start a label around and there name starts with jedi so is that a problem ?should I be worried about lucas coming after me with infringment suits or them for that matter or is it only bad if I start using star wars cliches even tho I doubt I would do that? your feedback would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Likewise, I'm not a lawyer, but "Jedi" is definitely a Lucas Arts / Lucas Licensing Ltd trademark that you won't be able to legally touch.
Just on a whim... Aha! Google rules! =)

I'm certainly not a legal expert, but I can say that Lucas vigorously protects their Intellectual Property -- which is how it should be. :)
It's best to stay clear of any potential infringements.
This may or may not be relevant, but here's a cool link for trademark inquiries . . .

I hope that helps,
