Radar?

Any working examples of implementing radar in TSE?
I have been able to find a working resource.

I learned in the boy scouts that a map and compass is fine, until you get a GPS unit.

And I guess he wants us to do it for him. It's really not that difficult to merge GUI objects into the new renderer.

Look at my threads. I'm asking for help or to tell me what I'm doing wrong.

You have to be careful alot of people around here are like a bunch of cynical old women ... they have probably not even looked at any other post of yours and only assume you are complaining or wanting something for nothing ... its alot like the IGN forums here sometimes .... Heck sometimes just for kicks jump into the GG IRC here and listen to some of the Elitist BS they spew in there when you ask a valid newb question cause I don;t know maybe you just got the engine and are hmm whats the phrase ... learning to use the engine ..

when what he really wanted was this:
http://www.garagegames.com/mg/forums/result.thread.php?qt=40124
people are around here are willing to help, but posting a thread 3x is not going to make anyone want to help you more. its entirely possible that what you want hasn't been done yet by anyone (the engine is still not finished, and alot of the stuff Juan is asking about is going to be put in in when Legions goes in, so its not suprising that no one is working on it). Now do i expect Juan to know that most of what he wants will be put in by GG when the legions code is merged in? No. Should i have posted telling him that? it probably would have been the nice thing to do. Does that make me a Cynical old woman for being less willing to stop my own developemnt to fix up the resource he wanted? not at all.
I'm not trying to flame anyone, or start any shit, and i understand that there are people out there who are just starting, AND we were all at that point once, so i understand the frusturation that is coming from some people. But do try and see it from the other side, in the past week there have been 2 different double posts about the same thing, and one of the guys is asking a question he was given the answer to on the TGE forums and isn't happy with it (he wants an avi player, he was told he has to use the theora control). So while yes it would have been more polite and proper to addres Juan and help him, if we all stopped what we were doing and helped everyone who showed up none of our own stuff would get done.

I think people's problem is the lack of patience, and the multi posting:http://www.garagegames.com/mg/forums/result.thread.php?qt=46488

Lack of patience...OK. I've been going at this for a whole month (first posted Jun.22) and I actually have deadlines to meet. My whole thing is that people know how to do what it was I was trying to do (as rotating about the z-axis has to be something entirely simple to an experienced game developer, which feels like 90% of this population).

You see, Juan.. no one cares about your deadlines. Everyone has deadlines and they are busy with their own projects. You're basically saying that if no one helps you, you crosspost.
Hey! It's not your right to receive help from people that know the solution to your problem. I was going to clean up my map/compass code and post it for you 2 days ago, but that was before I read your "lack of patience" bullshit.
Hopefully for you, someone else will step up and help you. Perhaps C2. But I never will.
Good luck with your gamedev.
Edit: Trimmed.

Alright, I'm sorry; I just got a little frustrated. I'm not gonna go back and forth over something that's meaningless in the end. I was wrong, let's move on.

Wow I thought my IRC channels was where to go if you really wanted that :)
Seriously though, as soon as you get that going would you mind putting up a tutorial on how you got it to work? I'ld be very interested in seeing it implemented.
