i want my charachter be able to dress cloth and change facial expression...so how i must do?
i must create each section divided (head, neck, torso etc.)and attach it ?if so how i can do for animation? with showtool i must have a charcter to move him and if i make diveded parts (attached with dummy object)the animation don't work........
how i must develop my character in 3d studio max?

Please give me some help so i can be able to change dress to my character online.

I would suggest texturing, rather than creating a whole new peice. It also cuts down on the poly count which becomes important in online games.
So stuff like cloth or light clothing would work best in texturing.
For things like heavy plate armor make a model for each part.
I dont know much about implementation or animation etc. But Texturing would be your best option for light clothing.
