Got 3D World Studio 5.47 To Make .dif
by Steven B · in Torque Game Engine · 06/21/2006 (2:38 pm) · 1 replies
I put a .png file in one of the texture folders
I made a box and applied the .png texture
my .png was green when I added to the folder
it showed up gray on the box and in the texture
browser.
I exported it to .map and then ran the run map.
I hit Go and the map2dif I am using out of
the torgue sdk ran until it said.
Parsing map file
Then and error occured and the
microsoft send or don't send program
shutdown dialog came up and I shut it down.
I went to my output folder and there was
the .map and the .dif files there just like quark does.
I am going to shuffle around the exporters and try to
use different textures but the main thing is that the
.dif was there.
So if someone can get ahead of me that would be cool.
I playing around all day and have to stop for the day.
