Does Firefox lock up on the forums for anyone else?

I use Firefox and Linux and some of the forum pages lock it up so it runs extremely slow. I can watch my CPU usage go to 100%. It only started doing this after GG changed to the new format for their site. It is really annoying and I cannot tell if it is a banner thing or something else. Has anyone else using Firefox run into this? I am running version 1.5.0.4. It almost makes some pages on the forums unusable.
This page does this to me:

Turning off javascript fixes it for this page. Maybe a tight loop in the javascript?

@Frank: Sometimes it happens with me too. It happens very often, most of times when i ask to open the page in a new window.Edit: This link locks up to me: www.garagegames.com/mg/forums/result.thread.php?qt=26566

Gustavo,
It happens when I open a page in a new tab. So basically a new screen.

Too bad I can't fix it by turning off javascript. We need it to use the menus at the top of the screen.Gustavo,
