TSE: Differences between debug & release compiles

What is the difference between debug and compile that does this? Maybe Brian Ramage's update at the end of the month will fix it.

It could be related to some skinning problems that I found when working with the new batching system. Yeah, let me know if this persists after the new update. I've tried it (in release) on ATI x800, nVidia 6600 and 6800 and haven't seen this problem.
