Beta4: weird scaling of 3D shape

Hi,
I've just created my first .dts file with 3D Studio Max 8, which is 512 units wide, 192 units high and 32 units deep, that's the size of the bounding box object that surrounds the shape.
All fine here. But then when I load it into TGB, instead of being perfectly delimited by the SceneObject boundaries/size, it's not. Let's see if I explain myself correctly.
Width-wise, it's right (perfectly fits the width of the scene object). But depth and height are very overscaled, like x10 or more. I mean, in order to get my original shape correctly displayed, I have to set scaling values like (1.0 0.1 0.08) and even this way it's not like the original. It's close, but since I don't know what's happening here I can't come up with the exact scaling values for it to look right. Although honestly I'd prefer it to look right from the very beginning, I mean being adjusted to the object boundaries correctly.
Anyone knows what's the problem here?
Thanks in advance

Manuel if you have not , be sure to read the PDF in the documentation folder about 3d shapes. It discusses the different settings and how to apply them. The overall scale is much different between most 3d modeling apps and TGB (same goes for TGE and TSE). When exporting your .dts object try scaling the whole object down by a contant factor like 0.05. trial and error is required. Also you might want to pickup a license for TorqueShowTool Pro it is well worth the $.

Oops, said PDF file is not included with Beta4. Let me know if you need a copy of it- I think it was included with Beta 3.

No problem, I have the old beta3 zip as well, although it doesn't say anything about downscaling the model before exporting, I'm afraid.
