Deadly sky FX

Well its not realy deadly, but it does cause Torque to crash and burn. For some strange reason, if I try to create a sky block I get this message,
"You do not have the correct version of the Torque Game Engine or the related art needed to connect to this server, please contact the server operator to obtain the lastest version of this game. (Invalid packet.)"
I'm not sure what this means but it doesn't matter anyways since I'm just trying to create fog, or do I need to use a skyblock to do this?
