How to integrate the Open Dynamics Engine into Torque?

by Winsoft · in Torque Game Engine · 05/24/2006 (9:49 am) · 5 replies

I am currently working on a project. The whole mechanic of the game was based around objects rolling and colliding in interesting ways, a realistic physics simulation was crucial. But how can I integrate ODE into Torque?

I sincerely hope you won't be getting any help, with all the spamming - for the third time.

1. Search the forums and resources and TDN.
2. Learn from people who have done it.
3. DON'T SPAM THE FORUMS!

I would suggest doing a search for ODE, there are a number of threads concerning it.

In the future I would suggest finding a forum that best suites your topic and ONLY posting it in that forum. Spamming in multiple forums tends to get folks riled up and all you need is a bunch of caffeinated indies mad at you. *grin*

Winsoft, seriously: stop.
This is really spamming. You asked, some people already answered.
If you already posted somewhere else, be gentle: delete your posts.
In the meantime, have a quick look at TDN (TorqueDeveloperNetwork), section TGE.
There's a nice article about physics in Torque.
If you are part of a company or by the way got some spare money, try to offer jobs to one of:
Pascal Rettig (ODE-Item)
Gary Briggs (ODE Torque Stuff)
Akio (unpublished, but very good OED resource)

By the way this doesn't mean they're going to accept.

Bye, Berserk.

Sorry, I broke the rules.I am new to torque development.I just hope to listen to more opinion for the question.
I have already sent the delete request to the web administrator, but the tip still exist by now.
