TLK Sound Issue

I recently switched to the TLK from TGE 1.4 and now my vehicle sound is VERY choppy. I'm using the same vehicle datablock setup with the same sound file but when I begin to drive not only does it get choppy but when I get out of the vehicle and walk away I can still hear the vehicle sound anywhere in the game I go. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !
