RTS 1.4 build 1 item left to correct

Actually my first build with tutorial.base as a foundation
was simple and I got a very exact looking and feeling RTS
mission but without the lobby function or RTS loader
this build is taking the 1.4 RTS and creating it as an equal to fps or racing release
version 1.4 solution and resources with the custom RTS features
and yes i have made several mods including fixing the selection ring
in the tutorial.base attempt forgot where i changeg the declaration :)
yeah i dont have to unstall torque its the other installs in my own paths
that i play with. this particular build i dont want to whack as of yet
because the two remaining things are so slight
the selection ring is just a clean up of some non conforming code due
to changes in the 1.4 release from the 1.3
the lack of Fresh RTS Meat in the player field as a default is my own error
somewhere i chose to direct the load to the wrong prefs and now am awaiting
my documentation post to return to the site or get forwarded to me in my email
so I can see where it was I made that choice
unfortunately I managed to go to bed with part3 of my documentation open
and my teenage daughter closed it without choosing save
so even though i can remember what I did I am having trouble remembering
where i got the prefs from when I did it
my forum post was up to date with each change so having it back
would minimize the chance I dont do it exactly the same again
I have several directories with multiple versions of some files
so I can copy and paste edit forward or back as I attempt to see
which entries in the forum by others are community changes
as opposed to that particular users fix for thier own build solution
I guess what I want to get is a RTS conversion that allows the community
to start from the same place. that would create a more vibrant KIT for
the future as certain changes become the STANDARD and the RTS becomes
more as Kit then originally released without GG having to do the work
themselves.
after I fiinish this which I expect to be soon now,
I want to integrate a multiplayer session where you can join with a RTS or FPS
client allowing someone to run around and shoot at the buildings and RTS units
perhaps others have done this on thier own and have made
small changes over a long period of time to get thier 1.4 compat RTS
that is not my intended goal, rather than have yours look like mine and look like everyone else's
I would rather take the DEBUGing process out of the conversion so on the FIRST day
you have the RTS kit you can make a ver 1.4 RTS and feel satisfied that it is a newer
version of the 1.3 not a crippled so it dont have errors or warnings type of build
from that point each user can experiment with the RTS enviroment and then realize
that new errors or warnings are thier fault not left over baggage.

Im not sure what you've done... Its probably a good idea to do a clean fix. IE delete/backup it all and start again.
It worked for me fine. =)
And I've modded my TGE to hell and back. xD
