A little game done from scratch in a week ! :D
my first project didt really turn out so well . My plan was to mod the shooter demos but that turned out more difficult than to write my own game from scratch because of all the more advance coding that was in the demos. So here goes my first project from scratch. Its still very early but its already tons of fun :D

EDIT : ADDED BOSS MOVIE

i linked the direction of the explosion with the direction of the bullet and the speed of the ship.
so when you shoot a bunch of ennemies while dashing towards them it almost feels like the ship is a deflector for the particle fx ! sweet ! :D

I just spent like 8 hours putting in visual fx :) you should see it now... the new particle fx when the enemie are exploding is simply amazing :)i linked the direction of the explosion with the direction of the bullet and the speed of the ship.

so i took other screen shots showing the fx test that are going on . The borders are not completed yet they dont appear to connect perfectly. So what you can see thats been added ( all still in progress )
Big Fan like shapes underneath the flooring
Some tiles appear to glow
A tried to simulate sets of rotating spot lights underneath the flooring
Some enviromental particles fx
Some tiles look very weird or as stuff written on them , its just to make sure everything is where it should be. This wont be in the final version.

if it wasent for all those bugs i cant fix i would share a playable preview :D soon i guess
