Any update on Beta 3?

Normally I wouldn't be so impatient (well, maybe I would ;) but I'm about to go from prototype to full development on my current project and I'd like to wait until I get Beta 3 to do so. And since I last heard it was going to be out this week I'm chomping at the bit. ;)

Let's all be patient. It's software development. Even the best developers in the world can't estimate perfectly. I'm sure they are building really cool things and want to make sure they are full baked before sharing them with us. If you go back and look at the releases we've had, GG has been really good about releasing frequently and with high quality.

Yeah I'm really excited to see what GG's been cooking up for us! :)

I guess this is where the early adopter situation adds a little more frustration and/or forces you to do things twice but overall, I definitely believe it's worth it. :)

Yeah, I agree. I'd rather wait another week or two and get a more solid release if that's what it takes. I'm primarily impatient because my level/game designer just purchased TGB last week so he could start building levels (we're going to have over 100). So I'm waiting for Beta 3 to teach him how to use the level and tilemap editors so he won't have to potentially learn it twice if the changes are significant.I guess this is where the early adopter situation adds a little more frustration and/or forces you to do things twice but overall, I definitely believe it's worth it. :)

Just got permission from the team lead: you can expect the next incremental update within a week.
