Sorta confused

I spent my first week with my new torque and Indie license and the 1.3 RTS
pack learning and researching what i needed to create a VS2005 TGE1.4 conversion

after finally getting thru all misleading posts and discovering how the TGE was structured
i managed not only to produce a very good working 1.4 of the RTS but my posting
documented everything
how to aquire the compiler and the sdk
and how to build the conversion step by step

now I cant find it anywhere all the work i did
is now not available to anyone including me
I have my notes and could rebuild the thread
but I am confused as to why it no longer exists in the forum

I am wondering if I did something I wasnt supposed to do

    It's slightly possible that the post got eaten during a forum/webpage database re-conversion we had to do this week, but honestly that's just a guess--I have no information one way or the other on any specific posts, and this is the first we've heard of a possible issue with a specific thread.

    Just wanted to give you an update.
    What happened was the sysadmin read your e-mail wrong (I forwarded it to him), and deleted the good thread instead of the bad one. I am working on getting this restored now.


    hope it gets back soon I have been working on the last 3 issues
    and want to see a full 1.4 RTS conversion before I start my true project

    Also, you may want to consider tracking your progress with a TDN article instead of the forums. Then you can edit, and revise.

    I did try submitting an article i dont see it after submission
    thought maybe there was an approval phase or something

    I will hopefully rebuild instructions and deal with remaining issues this weekend

    my hopes are to finally provide a single article with everything needed
    to convert and use RTS 1.3 with TGE 1.4
    for those who just wnat to edit and use it without weeks of
    searching for the answers and ending up with an almost perfect conversion

    and yes during edits I create a notepad reference
    and then make a wordpad RTF as I build solution
    I could post to TDN if I knew how to get thru
    the submission to avail article sequence
    still new here just bought license and need a few more weeks to
    get thru the learning curve with compiler and TGE setup etc
    this includes the site forums and wiki
