Box trick?

I have looked at how to do this imfamous box trick but I cannot seem to make it work I am just trying to rotate my gun model and I rotate it in max and re export it even after trying the box trick and it doesnt seem to work in torque.

What are you talking about? Resetting the transforms on an object? What's not working?

Also this would go in the art section or something, not general discussion.

Yes resetting the transforms, I made a gun I scaled it down that went fine, it is facing the wrong direction thus making it unusable I have tryed rotating it the correct direction and re exporting it but that is not working.

You need to rotate the pivot point of the Bounding box if you are using Max.

Here is one that will not burn all your transforms or lose some other data that the above script loses.

Click on the Download Link at the top of Reset Xform "Box Trick" Maxscript for the script.

These scripts are truely all in one. Box trick and everything else you need.



3dmax TorkTools - works with max2dts plugin

current released only supports weapons and vehicles.

odd,
blogs 10266 and 10268 do exist, just not 10267(Freeze's link)
same with the other link
2685 doesn't exist but 2684 and 2686 do.
