We've been working working on a tile and sprite pack for TGB and wanted to get some feedback from the community before we get into full production.

Take a look at our recently posted plan for details and the big pretty pictures. =)

I did try to do it totally in script... i worked on this for several days before it was painfully apparent that an engine enhancement is what is needed.
My plan is to polish up the code including some fixes to my current integration with LevelBuilder. There will be a pre-patched EXE that ships with the pack for those without source code and a resource posted for those that do.
I'm currently talking with the TGB team to try to get the changes included into the engine officially so i don't have to maintain the resource myself. =)

Funny... i never came across your thread when i implemented this, but i did see Daniel Stirk's. Your changes and my own were the logical extension to Daniel's work... per-layer sorting function.I did try to do it totally in script... i worked on this for several days before it was painfully apparent that an engine enhancement is what is needed.

(I feel kind of dumb for locking myself out from this incredibly useful tool)

I was doing a search for information on the new sort point functionality in 1.1.1 and I came accross some documentation for a TGB Adventure Kit. When I followed the link it said I needed to be an Adventure Kit owner in order to read it. Hmm, it looks like it's getting close. Good news! ;)

It is very imminent! ;)

The reason I ask is because of binary-only people. You would get a bigger market if it was a script-only thing. But the sort-point thing is something so useful and intuitive that I guess chances are good that it gets included some time.
