Problem excporting an objecxt from 3ds max

I have a 3ds max 8 file with a simple shape that i would like to import, when i use the dts exporter i get a "no bounding box" error. what is going on?

It means that you do not have a bounding box in the object or no mesh in the object called "bounds" would be more accurate. This hopefully will help you. www.garagegames.com/docs/tge/general/ch08s03.php
