Sort and Blender Translucency

I have finally MOSTLY figured out how to get a cube with translucencies (cut-out alphas) work. Everything seems to be working fine EXCEPT the sorting. In Torque, my cube looks like something out of an M.C. Escher painting.
I discovered that the Blender exporter expects a "_Sort" suffix on the mesh name. I tried that (underscore-capital "S"-o-r-t), and I also tried putting it on the object name, but to no avail. I still have a weird visual on the object in Torque when I re-export it.
I'm using version 0.91 of the exporter.
Any of you Blender exporter gurus have an idea?

Well, you have done a fantastic job so far, so I'm scared when you say it looks complicated to YOU :)

Ah, bummer. I thought that was already tested and in-use by others. Well, you have done a fantastic job so far, so I'm scared when you say it looks complicated to YOU :)
