Torque constructor

Does anyone know when the constructor will be released? Also, when will the shader go off EA!!!

We are going to be releasing a very limited closed beta at the end of this week or the beginning of next week (the slots for this beta are already filled so don't bother emailing us =). This beta will be functionally complete and an artist will be able to actually use it to produce content without having to involve any other tools (aside from map2dif).

Two or three weeks after the Functional Beta we will be launching the Feature Complete Beta which will have all of the shipping features included in it (we may slip in one or two extra polish features before launch but that is subject to time limitations). At this point we will be focused primarily on bug fixes and addressing any gross workflow issues that get reported to us.

Two or three weeks after that we should have a Release Candidate version of Constructor (all features done, all known bugs fixed). We are planning on staging Constructor Weekend which will allow anyone to download a copy of Constructor early on Friday morning and then play with it till it expires on Sunday night. This should also coincide with a GID weekend that will be focused on Constructor and building brush-based levels/buildings (Tom likes to joke that "GID17 was cancelled due to a lack of c'tor" =P).
