Beta2_TorqueGameBuilder_1_1 with Tutorial and Saving Level?

Hello All:

I'm trying to follow along in the "Basic Tutorial.PDF", and I know a couple of the files have changed, but I finally managed to get it work.

My question is this, the "Basic Tutorial.PDF" has you modify the "game.cs" script in the "games\T2D\gameScripts" directory and after you modify the code and save it, your supposed to run T2D.EXE from the "games" directory.

All fine and dandy except when I choose "Launch\Run Game" it tells me "You must save your level before it can be teste" (the "d" seems to be chopped off on my image)

Anyways, the docs mention nothing about this, so I haven't a clue of a) what to call it and b) where to save it at. I just put in "test" and it seemed to work, but not understanding more about it nor why is it not in the tutorial is the confusing part.

Thanks for your time.

Well, beta 2 changed quite a bit compared to previous builds with how you interact with the level editor and scripts. So the basic tutorial is now out of date. Here is a thread which shows how to start the basic tutorial with or without help from the level editor. Hope it helps.

Also, Level Builder Getting Started.pdf was written for the Beta2 level builder.
