Problems exporting a vehicle with 0.91 exporter

Hey guys,
I'm having a problem exporting a vehicle from Blender. I get the following output in the log file;
Torque Exporter 0.91
Using blender, version 241
Using unaccelerated math code, performance may be suboptimal
**************************
Processing Scene...
Cleaning Preference Keys
Exporting...
Writing shape to 'd:\apc_hull.dts'.
Processing...
Error: Exception encountered, bailing out.
exceptions.Exception
There's nothing weird about my scene as far as I can tell...my object hierarchy looks like this
Shape
-Detail32
--Armature
---Geometry
However, if I remove the armature and parent the geometry to Detail32 the scene exports just fine. Any ideas where I could be going wrong?

I've tried it again with a single armature, and pressed ctrl-a to apply a transform to it. Then re-parented everything and the export works. This is a bit weird as I tried this before and it didn't work, I'm thinking there is maybe some sort of caching issue in the exporter?
If I add new armatures, it doesn't seem to referesh in the exporter GUI and I have to re-start Blender for the changed to be exported.
