Making a barrelling wave

I suspect this can be done in TSE with a vertex shader, some morph targets and lots of programming skill, but can it also be done in TGE?

I was thinking of porting my old game "Offshore 2000 Pro Surf Tour" to Torque.

No frame cap so it runs way too fast, but have a go... space to paddle, space to stand, left and right to steer.

In fact if you press the Left Alt key to access the menu, selected the highest rez possible and it might run slow enough to control... not the point really - I'm just trying to figure out how to do the wave in Torque.

There is another version on the net with the filename off2000.zip but it has errors - I'll upload a more stable version for people to have a look later.
