Missing tutorial

Hi, iam new to TGB and a total newbie to scripting.

I was checking the wiki and where confused that I dont see any Shooter Tutorials since the demos contains the fish and a shooter game.

Is there a shooter tut somewhere else and are there any books out ?

In your documention folder in the SDK, its the basic tutorial. That has everything you need to get started :)

The shooter tutorial is in TDN, it's called Torque 2D Basic Tutorial. It's probably even more out of date than the PDF if your documention folder though.

If you get stuck trying to get the shooter tutorial to work in Beta 2 (since the tutorial itself is out of date) this thread has some code snippets that might help:

You're right, not sure why the link doesn't work. Anyway, the thread is in this forum, right below this one, called "But the GDC demo made it look so easy".
