I love the new level editor but the tutorial whimped out early for me.
can we have one that drills down into some torque script.
I.E controlling the dog with a rocket pack with keys.
I am lost tbh.

how to I access the things within the level?
I just think someone coming from this new would have the same problems.
the old starting tutorial is ok but not for the new one.

The new version is just too new for having tutorials and the level editor is still worked on ... so I'm not sure if a tutorial thats created at the moment would have any use later. (as you might have seen, the tile map editor is still an own editor and you can't use those in levels which makes the levels quite "useless" for the moment ...)

all I am asking is they went a bit further and showed how to use the items in the level with t script and controlling the dog with keys would have been perfect.
maybe some kind soul could put it on the TDN :D
I am really excited to see where else this level editor goes.
I would like something like a object generator that you could put into a level. This could then produce objects by command via t script.
an example of this would be monster generator like in gaunlet.

I don't think it is, They managed to do one on what is currently there. all I am asking is they went a bit further and showed how to use the items in the level with t script and controlling the dog with keys would have been perfect.

Trust me, we're working on it! The latest build is an intermediate build, and things are still changing--part of the "we want updates as soon as we can get them!" request from the community. There will be some very awesome tutorials for the level builder coming down the stream in the future, as well as updates to the current tutorials (tdn and .pdf) coming down the pike just as soon as it makes sense, and we have the time.

The spaceScroller tutorial is a good one to continue with.
