Max 5

Does anybody out there have a working exporter for max 5? ..and i mean anybody..

..or a fix that will make the max 4 exporter work with max 5?

The max 4 exporter works with 5.. the multires plugin does not work with it.. you can use the max 4 version of multires in max 5 and it works perfectly.

you will need to get a version of the multires plugin from 4 for use with this.. OR don't use the MR plugin to generate detail levels.

And that my friend is my exact problem... where to get a max 4 multires.dlm?

You have to own Max 4 to have access to the Max 4 multires.dlm, it cannot be distributed independently.

Note: If you keep searching around you will find a Max 5 plugin that has been compiled for Max 5 multires. Just use the search tool at the top toolbar and look around.

Been doing that.. for weeks.. and weeks.. and weeks .. :/ ...
kinda miffed there aint one on the artists page.. false advertising somewhat..

im a sproutling as far as coding goes... whats a guy to do!..
