Couple of questions

In Quark (v. 6.5 alpha) there's a couple of options that I can't find a description of and a couple of quirks that I can't seem to find a solution to:
1. Mitre edge. What does this do?
2. When two faces are sharing the same space (say... a detail object is bumped up against a wall). Is there a way to delete the face of the detail that is against the wall or does map2dif do this automatically for me?
3. Is there a way to smooth edges like Maya's soften normals?
4. The enlarge / shrink options are pretty neat, but is there a way to set how much those buttons enlarge / shrink the brushes?
5. Some of the textures that I apply has this odd blurring to them in the Torque engine when they are a certain distance away from the camera. I assume it's something in the quark export settings... maybe?
Thanks a ton!

2. If map2dif doesn't render the polygon face invisible, use the null texture on it.
