portability.. specifically dedicated servers

I am not so concerned about the client being developed under linux as I do not really see this as very important now (or even in the near future) - most geek types that support linux and other unix like OS's have a windows box to play games under anyway. However, having dedicated servers that can be run from linux are quite important from my perspective (just look at the number of servers that run counterstrike that are running linux).
You list linux under the platform section of the V12 technology. How far is this supported - in other words will you ship the V12 projects with the necessary portability to build under linux (or xBSD)?

I personally use an SGI running IRIX for my development. I plan on porting any code I need to this platform if it won't nativly compile. Hopefully they will be able to be added to the v12 engine, for we don't all use Windows for dev.
