VTK for MacOsX?

Does anybody knows a easy way to get VTK working in MacOsX? I have seen very complex instructions for compiling it, but does somebody have a compiled version for us, poor artists?

Their FAQ says that it runs, but it isn't listed in the "Tested" group.
