Can I make a good MMORPG/MMOFPS with Torque?

I'm making an indy Scifi mmorpg/mmorfps. The game is accually pretty simple, with the shooting part being the most complex.

It will save you a lot of time and frustration. Plus if you make a single player or multi player game you can hone your game design and try out lots of different things without the unnecessary complexity of a MMO game.
make some smaller versions of the game you want to make, and learn about art pipelines, software development processes, working with designers, artists, programmers, etc.
get all the basics under your belt before spinning your wheels on something like an MMO.
if on the other hand you have already been through all that, you understand how to finish a product, how to work with others(either locally or remotely) understand all the complexities and issues involved with just a single player game then I say go for it, and Torque is indeed an excellent choice :)

Sure its absolutely possible. However if your someone with no game development experience, have never made a game before, have never development a product with a group of other people then I would suggest you take smaller steps before taking on a much larger product like an MMO.It will save you a lot of time and frustration. I am not trying to be rude, but the first thing you should have done is used the search feature to see what we all said the first 100 times your question was asked. If you can't tackle a task like that, than maybe an MMO is not in your ball-park at this time.

Ya the game is more FPS then MMORPG, and I'm starting with the FPS part first.
