GarageGames e-commerce/DRM solution

Hey all,
I'm wondering how to do slick, in-game e-commerce for a mass-market Torque engine game. I see that many of the other games on this site go to either the maker's site to GarageGames.com to shopping-cart/checkout functionality. I presume that it then generates a key that may or may not be validated with a central server.
My questions are this:
1. Is there documentation on using this system? Is it part of Torque?
2. Can it be hosted on your own site, like it appears the TribalTrouble guys are doing?
3. Does GG take a percentage cut? If so, how much?
4. Can anyone do this, or does a deal have to be negotiated with GG?
5. Can this be done completely in-game, without shelling out to a website?
I've looked at a bunch of other solutions out there (ActiveMark, RegSoft, Paypal, etc.) and the are either not cross-platform, or icky/confusing/annoying enough that they are not desirable. It does seem like a common problem that many indies would face though, although I didn't see any threads here already and don't see any docs in the SDK (except for an ancient post of Tim's talking about how he is going to implement e-commerce...5 years ago).
Thanks!
