To Blog or Not to Blog??

So many cool things are happening in my little quest to become a game developer. Would anyone find that interesting? Would anyone care to hear my rambilings about the industry and what I think about when I drive to work? What things are allowed to be blog about? Obviously I am sure we have to keep PG but are there things we are not allow to blog about?

Man all i have is a concept for my game. I have yet to drop one line of code. But like everyone else i have the greatest idea

Look at it this way, a year from now you'll have made some progress and have something to show for it AND you'll have a document that shows other new developers the path you took. For me, the best part about publically documenting progress on my own projects is that it has kept me honest about the amount of work I am doing and focussed me on my goals.

Since you live in Texas RIGHT next to me (Round Rock) I am very interested to hear about your quest to gaming. :) Also, a blog about that is totally game related, and showing the concept and progress of your new game is exactly what the blogs are for....imo.

I made a little blog post myself and was actually not expecting a soul to even read it, nevermind reply about it.

Definately blogs are important, but I would assume only if you have big news.
