Wow that got messed up somehow...
anways, i finally made (im not done) my own cherecter model.. i did it all by myslef (tho it sucks, cuz you guys probubly could make a fricken dragon when you were 14). i cant figure out uv mapping.. so can you guys gimme feedback about what to change/do? thnx

Yeah i understand the whole concept for easy thigns like circles and squares, but i cant do it for whole people, its weird

You might want to get a photo of a person or some concept are for a character and use that for reference.

What have you tried and what have been the results?
This will help us give you better or perhaps even specific feedback.
The example that BigPapa sent you about unwrapping a cube is exactly how to approach a human character - think in terms of how a coat or piece of clothing is made and use the "seams" to help unwrap your wireframe.
There is an art to this in a way and it might take a bit to get your head around it, but it's not too difficult once you get the hang of it.

does it work to make more than one seam?
when i did uv map my character, on the little screen it showed a bunch of tiny pinp dots all flat in one time at the very bottom, is that good?

think of a seam as cutting that part out to be able to skin it easier
