Having a gold mine , but no way to exploit it ...

Few monthes ago, we decided to create an adventure game for the Pocket PC platforms. After many monthes of work, we managed to release it to the public through online sales system. But soon, it releaved this platform wasn't meant yet for such a project, which can be compared to classical adventure games such as Maupiti Island, or Gabriel Knight.
We realized then it was important for us to port this title on an only player system, and we choosed The Game Boy Advance, trying hard to contact many influent people in the business to find funds for the development. For this task, we created a 15 megs Game design Document, describing precisely the game (as it's already finished and working), explaining the gaming and financial advantages of releasing such a title that could honestly goes beyond highest adventures titles on this console's quality, and also showing the very good ratings we already recieved from the Pocket PC community, from both reviewers and users. But we've got no answer at all from anyone. We're very worried about this situation, as it seems our game is going to die before beeing actually shown to the mass market gamers community.
That is why we're writing here, asking if it was possible to recieve some interresting advices, to make them read the docs, or at least make them contact us, to hear about this project.
We already thank anyone who can help us to get out of this situation, and participate to the production of this title.

One thing that might be worth while to look into is having a person, outside of your company, go over your documents and make sure everything is clear. I don't mean this as a crack at your spelling/grammer because even the best writers have people going over their stuff and giving feedback on what could be improved. This is especially true if your first language is not the one the design doc is being writen in. I know this has come up a copule of times on the forums here and it can't be stressed enough. For important documents have someone review your writing! Nothing will loose a potential customer faster then having them not be able to understand what it is your trying to get across.

Hello greg , i'm tottally Agree with you , Especially since I know the Spelling of the doc is not top notch
actually the problem is the size of the doc (15mo)
The people I know of that can help me with a doc correction have a slow connection :(
Anyway I'm considering A new possibility :
If someone want to help to review our Game design, and willing to use his contacts to make a publish deal happen, We will give him a Part of the revenue from the game (There are actually only 5 parts)
As I said, The game is 100% done and tested on the Pocket PC platform, and the Main GBA Graphic and design part is also done, It should be really easy for someone skilled enough in marketing deal to have that project aknowledged by any good Publisher out there...
This game has a good chance of becoming an instant classic of the GBA, if someone give it a chance.
If you want to talk about that point with me, feel free to email me at "fade-team@wanadoo.fr"

If you doc's are too large to send via email and that's holding it up from being proofread, you may want to consider making an HTML version or a downloadable PDF. I don't know what format it's in but just about every office program lets you save as HTML.

it's a .DOC
Anyway making the file Available from my website via a Html link is an exellent Idea I wonder why I didn't thought about that to exchange file with people who have a slow connection

Andre, leave it as a .DOC file, upload it to an FTP site, and post a link. If you can't swing that, you can email me: cerdip@canada.com and I can arrange to get the document onto an FTP site for you (don't try to email me the doc).
