RTS starter kit

I have recently purchased the RTS starter kit and am completely stuck due to the lack of documentation, i can do basic changes like modifications to the GUI and changing the enviroment but am having problems advancing my game, could anyone help me on teh following points:
adding another dynamic object to the mission,
adding a dynamic enemy object to the mission,
and
creating a new function to be used by the GUI, i.e. a heal function that works like the attack command
