Best free soundtrack maker

I was wondering if there is a good free soundtrack maker similar to garageband that has all the sounds right there i am in the process in making a game and would like to have a decent sound to it

also i know its off the subject but i need scripters that will work only for a thanks and crediting(this is going to be put in the scripting section too)

Well I can't help you wth scripting, but Audacity is free, it doesn't have the sounds already in it but you can go out into your backyard and record sounds and manipulate them to where it sounds like something else.

Thank you what i need is somthing like this as well as a music maker like garage band that has sounds in it allready

There's also buzz,
altho skale looks a bit easier to dive into.

If you don't mind forking over around $100, FL Studio is getting to be really nice, and the learning curve isn't too bad on the program either.

You can search the site for trackers and music sequencers on different platforms with different licenses (free, commercial, etc.). Once you get used to the tracker that you choose, if it supports VST plugins then there are plenty to search and choose from on the site.
