Interrior Mip-Map Woes

I've tried numerous textures on my interrior and I still run into the same problem. My textures are losing detail at too close a range. Could anyone tell me where in the code I would look to disable the mip-mapping of interriors. I understand the importance of mip-mapping but I feel like if I leave things the way the are I'm going to be settling for something I dont like.
