How much math knowledge is required to use T2D?

I've very interested in creating a Scorched Earth (eg. tanks) type of game which is only 2D and I'm wondering how much math is required to use the Torque 2D engine. Also, I am absolutely terrible at artwork, so is artwork available for a Scorched Earth/Tanks type of game? Finally, is any sourcecode available for any Torque2D game so I can get a feel for how difficult programming will be?

Thanks!

About the artwork, you simply need to get normal 2D artwork, and there are some free sources, but you can also hire an artist.

About the math, It matters what game you make, for your idea, some math will be needed, I think, to calculate the angle of the bullets/missils movement, but not too much.

About the sourcecode, no, I don't think you will be able to find any, as it is against the T2D licence aggreement to give the sourcecode(script and engine) to anyone who doesn't own T2D. All I can tell is that if you can learn to program, or know how to program, that part will be easyer than with most other engines.

Hope that helps,
