DigiPen is doing an 11 session class on 3D Game Programming in C#. The webpage for the class is www.digipen.edu/main/Webcast/Introduction_to_3-D_Video_Game_Development.

It's up to session 4 as of today, Jan 23, 2005. You can download the sessions by following the links on the webpage I listed above. If you are available during the morning when it's sessions take place, you can participate live and ask questions and everything! Check it out!
I am watching and learning the 4th session right now and so far these have been fantastic. This is a very beginer class, so, you experts will probably not care for this, but us noobs will love it! The concepts and methods are great to learn. C# makes it very easy to concentrate on learning to do the game engine coding instead of hassling with C++ at the same time. Obviously, any game that requires speedy processing is going to need to be programmed in C++, but that doesn't mean you can't learn with C#. That's what I'm doing and I am loving it! Already the Torque engine is making more sense to me as I learn about what a game engine is made up of and how it works. This is a really great class.
I hope that all of you beginner game engine programmers like me join in on the fun and represent the GG community while you're at it! And... really, even though this is for beginners, most of the coders in the class have over 5 years coding experience. Most are 25-35 or older. This is good for non beginers too. You can always learn from how someone else is doing things.
